Frequently Asked Questions

How come your estimates are lower than everyone else's?

We don't have a giant warehouse, fancy showroom, or high tech office. We are two guys, with a ton of experience, trying to run a successful company out of a home office, and a storage locker. Basically, we have very little overhead. We pass that savings on to our customers.

How long does a typical project take to complete?

We try to get our jobs completed as soon as we can. We can typically be on site to measure within a couple days of you contacting us. We can normally get a quote to you within 2-3 days after the measurements. Once the 50% deposit is paid, we order the glass, and can usually schedule the install day within 2-3 weeks. Most projects take less than a day to complete. Showers average between 3-6 hours, and glass units in windows and doors can vary from 15 minutes, to 1 hour each per unit. We're happy to sit down and talk about options for special projects as well.

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes, we offer free consultations to discuss your project requirements and provide an estimate for our services.

Other than aesthetics, are there benefits to replacing the failed glass units?

A window that has cracked, has become foggy, hazy, cloudy, spotted, or contains moisture between the panes of glass, has "failed". It no longer insulates the way it was designed to. that failed glass is an easy spot for heat to escape in the winter, and cold air to escape in the summer.

Failed units have a much greater tendency to allow moisture into your home by way of condensation, as well. Condensation can lead to all sorts of problems that can potentially cost you thousands in repair bills from unseen(behind walls, or under flooring) water damage, or, God forbid, hospital bills, from mold related health problems.

“High Glass exceeded my expectations with their professionalism and attention to detail. The final result was beyond what I imagined. I highly recommend them for any glass project.”
